Cicalfate Skin-Repair Emulsion POST-PROCEDURE is made for skin irritated by superficial dermatological procedures (lasers, peels).
CLINICAL OUTCOMES
A monocenter study was conducted with 50 subjects (25 for laser treatment, 25 for peels). Cicalfate POST-PROCEDURE Skin-Repair Emulsion was applied at least twice a day for 7 days. We were able to observe a significant decrease in warming sensations after the product was applied, and in burning sensations from D2, with very high skin tolerance immediately after the procedure and throughout the study.
Some 30 patients also compared the Cicalfate Skin-Repair Emulsion POST-PROCEDURE formula with the leading product on the market. Patients appreciated Cicalfate more, not only because of its cosmetic qualities (non-sticky, non-greasy), but also because of its efficacy (skin was soothed and repaired).
